whispering heaven

Depending on what you read, this rather poetically named tea is neither more nor less than plain black ceylon tea flavored with/as/next to, variously:

“floral”
“exotic citrus fruits”
“citrus notes”
“grapefruit”
“mallow flowers”/”mallow petals”
“hibiscus”
“marigold”
“mango”
“rose”/”rose petals”

or is also described as “a black rose congou base infused with grapefruit and hibiscus notes.”

Whatever the heck congou is. Anyway it probably kept me from running off the road on Monday, or turning in hundreds of words of Hey nonny nonny, tra la la. And it has shards of purple-blue and yellow and red petally leafs in it, and it is, as Ani said of the NYC trans hookers, purdy!

And in other time-wasting news, here’s an engrossing pair of pages concerning themselves solely with varieties of brown and sepia ink, part I and part II. This same site also has pages on blue/green/turquoise (oh yeah), pink/red/purple, and yellow/grey/”other.” INK RECIPES. Bloody enthralling!
