AVULSED (knocked-out) TOOTH
• Find tooth, but do not handle the root.
• If tooth is soiled, rinse gently in water. Do not scrub or remove attached tissue.
• Attempt to reinsert tooth in socket, if not possible, place tooth in cold skim milk or water.
• Take child to the dentist immediately. Don’t forget the tooth.
