mermaids and raspberry leaf (from county cloth creations!)

Now I can only begin to imagine, for readers to whom I am already freakish beyond belief, how bizarre my cloth pad obsession (of six months’ standing) appears. Boy I have been reading way too much student writing because I can evidently no longer be trusted with a multi-clause sentence. Anyway, I know how weird it would have seemed to me, a year or so ago. And? Can I just say that for me, for ME, to actually not only not dread but look forward to, anticipate eagerly, the beginning of my period? Despite all the pain and nausea? Is nothing short of miraculous. And hey, if all it takes is one washable pink cotton and fleece $4.50 mermaid pad arriving in the post to accomplish that (or, okay, let’s be honest, a couple dozen of their kin)? I’m a lucky woman, because it may be another whole decade until menopause.

Okay now this post is too weird and hippie-flaky even for me.

Actual sentence from actual student final: “This semester I learned the importance of poof reading.” And there was no Oscar Wilde on the syllabus!

I _will_ be as crunchy as you. Went with skulls/dia de los muertos patterns though. Enough to make me start looking forward to hormonal fluctuations.

NB by the way that if you do not select an avatar one will be dictatorially assigned to you. And it may not be all that pretty. I'm just saying.
