I keep thinking about Jimmy Carter, and how the democrates inherited the white house on the heels of republican failure… only to take control at a time when the country was spiraling into an economic disaster… why am I thinking about this, and why are neocons picking the lesser to three evils? Do they have a Ronald Regan waiting in the wings to ride in and save the day in 2012? Come to think of it, the first few years of the Regan Presidency weren’t all that good either.
“Politics makes no sense.” He declared, taking the tub of cream from the freezer and carrying it into the bedroom, “Wake me when its over, or at lest when new ice cream arrives!”
Truly, ice cream is the post-partisan dessert.
